To the public,

My name is Emily Hill, and I am speaking on behalf of the Norton 2020 Campaign. Earlier this week, there were allegations made by a certain person regarding our candidate, Sedona Norton. For the sake of this person’s privacy, we will not be releasing or stating their name. This person claimed that they were pressured into a hidden physical relationship with Norton and was then paid to keep quiet about it. On behalf of the entire Norton campaign party, we want to come forward and state that these claims are not true. This person was an office secretary for our campaign team a few months ago, and due to a conflict of interest, we had to fire them. As it can be expected, this person was not pleased with this incident, and now, as a result, they are trying to seek out revenge against our campaign party and directly influence the voters by spreading these false claims. We, as a party, want to make it very clear that there was no hidden relationship between this person and our candidate, and there was no money exchanged in order to silence the person. Our party believes in being truthful and honest with the public, which is why we have chosen to address these allegations and put an end to the circulation of this misinformation. Thank you.

Sincerely,

The Norton 2020 Campaign Party,
